- Collaborative Research - Rooted in the view that our five areas of coverage/expertise are inextricably linked, each vein of expertise is brought to bear (in the form of multiple analyst/strategist attendees on our end) in the multiple interviews that are done with companies being tracked and assessed.
- Collaborative Analysis - Since there are many cooks in the kitchen during the research processes, of course the variety of perspectives, insights, and opinions should then be manifested in the internal analysis that we do and, ultimately, the output we deliver to clients (in both published and inquiry/proprietary forms).
Additionally, Stratecast includes the names and titles of officers and senior management of companies being assessed. (This information is included in a footnote in each company assessment that is completed.) Roughly 50 percent of interviews/intelligence calls are completed in-person; roughly 50 percent are completed via multi-party conference call.
The interviews vary from those done by typical market research/business intelligence firms, which tend to recite questions and simply jot down answers. By contrast, Stratecast conducts lengthy interactive sessions in which our team of strategists actively consults the interviewee(s) on business, market, competition, technology, product, tactical, and other trends/issues/challenges/decisions they are facing/addressing/making. We are literally giving as much as we are getting in our interviews/intelligence calls.
This collaborative research and collaborative analysis methodology applies not only to what we publish, but also to what we deliver to our clients on their specific needs that are handled either by inquiry access to our staff or Business Strategy Consulting (BSC) engagements/projects.
