Why IMEA:
The India Manufacturing Excellence Awards is seen as a pragmatic approach towards identifying opportunities for improvement within the organization. The assessment team identifies the current standing of the facility on the software-driven model and the resultant charts capture, extent and balance of growth, the alignment of strategic and implementation achievements and actual comparative metrics within the industry sector.
The assessment provides:
- A Facility Scorecard: A quantitative score of the facility mapped against the Global Excellence Model and parametric scores that indicate operational excellence shall be shared with the facility. This indicates the system maturity and the strengths and areas of improvement within the organization.
- Industry Benchmark: Graphs showing statistical comparison against similar industries helps identify industry maturity and benchmark with leaders. Facility standing on the consonance of intended strategy vs implementation ability helps drive the velocity of growth.
- Closing Feedback: Closing feedback session at the end of the site assessment and the assessment report will highlight observations on facilities and specific areas of improvement, which are crucial towards making the facility world-class.
A detailed report on the outcome of the assessment will be shared only upon request from the senior management and after due consideration by the executive committee.
