The mobile revolution in MENA is among the fastest in the world. Penetration of smartphones has crossed 75% in markets like UAE and KSA. Yet, overall broadband infrastructure and digital readiness is disparate across the region, with only 50% of population in Egypt, Lebanon, Algeria having mobile connections against 100% penetration in KSA and UAE.
